An Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is a statement from an insurance plan showing how it processed a claim. An Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) provides similar payment and adjustment information electronically.
Percentage of Collections providers
If you bill under the Percentage of Collections model, an insurance plan may send you EOBs or other claim correspondence. You are no longer required to send EOBs to Help Therapy each week. You may send them if you find that helpful. Please promptly forward any insurance letters or correspondence that affect claims or payment, including recoupments, takebacks, denials, or requests for information, to billing@helptherapy.com so our team can review and respond.
Fixed Payout Group providers
Help Therapy handles insurance billing and collections for providers in the Fixed Payout Group. You do not need to obtain or send EOBs or ERAs. If you receive insurance correspondence about a Help Therapy claim, forward it to billing@helptherapy.com.
