Are you a Medicare Provider with Help Therapy?

If so, this article is for you.


Help Therapy takes care of your billing.  To allow us to bill out for your Medicare clients, you will need to set up our preferred billing vendor on your EDISS connect account and sign the linked document allowing us to process your claims.


PLEASE NOTE THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT HAS SCREENSHOTS OF EVERY STEP OF THE PROCESS.  CLICK ON THE ATTACHMENT TO ACCESS.


Step 1: LOG IN EDISS CONNECT (If you do not have an account, you will follow the steps below to create one) -- instead of clicking on Manage Transactions, you will click on "Add Transaction" 

 

Step 2: Once you have created an account, you will login on and go to your HOME PAGE- CLICK ON MANAGE TRANSACTIONS or if you are logging in for the first time, click on "ADD TRANSACTION"

 

Step 3: CLICK ON NPI NUMBER and follow the requested steps

 

Step 4: ADD VENDOR- search for TRIZETTO PROVIDER SOLUTIONS (add the number for Southern Medicare if you are a Southern Medicare provider and Northern Medicare if you are a Northern Medicare Provider)

Step 5: Send a screenshot of the Medicare linking instructions - this is for proof registration with Kareo to our billing team at billing@helptherapy.com and cc your Provider Relations Manager at providerrelations@helptherapy.com.


Don't have an EDISS Account?


If you do not have an EDISS account set-up, you will need to register. This is how you get started:
  1. Register --  https://connect.edissweb.com/web/guest/home

    Before using the system, all providers must register. This is the initial account creation where basic demographic and transaction-related information is collected.  Please register as a PROVIDER and not a VENDOR.  Additionally, if the following does not apply to you (The HTTPS Connectivity option should only be selected by Trading Partners planning to use SOAP or MIME protocolsto submit transactions to EDISS. ... Medicare Trading Partners are not allowed to use this option for electronic claims submission) do not check the box under register indicating This account will be used for HTTPS Connectivity related transactions defined by CORE Operating Rules.)

    For providers, the initial registration process requires a billing NPI to be entered to establish the account. Additional billing NPI's may be added after the account has been created.

    The following information is needed for registration:

    • NPI
    • TIN
    • Contact/demographic information
    • Vendor Submitter ID (these are the numbers listed above based on your location)

  1. Account Security

    Upon initial registration, you will create your EDISS Connect username and password. After your first login attempt into the system, you will need to establish Account Security questions. This set of security questions will protect your account.

  2. Account Settings

    EDISS Connect users have the ability to choose who will administer their profile.

    If you are administering your account, you will be responsible for completing the registration and adding transactions. During the registration process you will be asked to select what software you will be using. EDISS offers support for ABILITY | PCACE, a free software available for download from www.edissweb.com under the Software/Connectivity page.

    If a vendor (clearing house or billing service) will be your account administrator, you will need to grant them this access during initial registration or later in your account settings. The vendor will need to accept this role after they are selected.

  3. After you register repeat steps 1-5 above.
